Brochure Myths and Facts about Lesbians, Gays and Bisexual People
The first edition of this brochure in Russian appeared in 2009. Since then, it has been published five times in Russia and twice for Russian-speaking people in Germany, and has always been warmly received by readers. For the Belarusian edition, the text has been updated and edited.
The brochure addresses questions that people often raise about homosexuality and bisexuality. It is not meant to be exhaustive but rather to serve as an introduction to the topic. Its foundation lies in the questions typically asked of lesbians, gay men and bisexual people in online discussions, many of which are rooted in persistent stereotypes circulating in society.
Unfortunately, the size of this brochure does not allow all questions to be covered or every myth surrounding homosexuality and bisexuality to be dispelled. However, the references to online resources and literature will help those interested find further information that matters to them.
The downloadable version is available in Belarusian.
